Oh star fall down on me Let me make a wish upon you Hold on, let me think Think of what I'm wishing for
It was still mid-day, students were in classes and Juliet, well, she was skipping a few of them. She was wrapped up nicely in her winter jacket, with a fashionable scarf and hat, her hands shoved into the pockets of her jacket as she breathed out, watching her breath showing into the cold air around her. It really wasn't as if she needed to be in the class, it wasn't important to her and it didn't matter anyways, her parents threw a bunch of money towards this school, to be kicked out or whatever just seemed like a bad thing. It wasn't as if she really liked the school that much either, at first she did, but now, it didn't matter that much.
Juliet gave out a small sigh as she thought of an up-coming musical that she was thinking of going and trying out for. It wasn't as if she wouldn't get it, she usually always got the main lead part in the musicals. Being a very popular student came in handy when it came to what Juliet wanted and to have the lead roles, was something that she wanted.
As she thought about the musical, it made her think of her parents, something they wouldn't show up to or they'd end up leaving during the performance and have her heart shattered not hearing of their thoughts about it. And when she would call them and ask them about it, they usually didn't say much and not speak long to her at all saying they had an emergency and would hang up immediately.
Juliet shook her head at the thoughts, biting slightly at her bottom lip, she usually did call and tell them about the up-coming musical, but she wasn't for sure if she was really up to getting disappointment once more. She did her best to push the thoughts away from her mind, she looked up towards the clouds, seeing the grayness of them, wondering if it was going to snow.

And I don’t want the world to see me…
…Cause I don’t think that they’d understand. Alex walked out into the courtyard in front of the school. He only wore his thin black coat, but he wasn’t that cold. He put his hands into his pockets after re-adjusting his sunglasses that he wore to hide his blood-shot eyes from having stayed up too late drinking the night before. He had a pounding headache and he couldn’t concentrate in his classes. So, there was little point in staying in them. He focused on the ground as he walked, not really paying attention to much. He bit his lip as he walked, thinking about everything. He had his earphones in and his music was playing very softly as to not worsen the headache he was nursing. He’d taken a few Tylenol, but that hadn’t done anything to help. He needed something a bit stronger, but he was scared to take anything stronger than that. He’d just deal with the pain. He was a few feet into the courtyard when he looked up and spotted someone else out there. She was another senior, he was pretty sure. Juliet…he thought. He wasn’t one-hundred percent sure, but he didn’t really know if he cared. His head was pounding too much to even think straight about that.
“What is this? Everyone skip day?” he said softly. He’d run into at least six other people in the hallway in-between the entrance hall and the last class he’d been in. He was o obviously not in the best mood that day. He felt like lashing out at anyone and everyone, even someone he may have considered a friend, not that he had many of those. He sighed as he leaned up against the wall, wishing the day was over so he could go back to his room and climb into his bed where he could hide under his large pile of blankets and forget everything.tag;; juliet/open word count;; 311 ooc;; hi XD

Oh star fall down on me Let me make a wish upon you Hold on, let me think Think of what I'm wishing for
Juliet kept looking up towards the clouds, a part of her was hoping it would snow; the first snow fall always made everything seem beautiful and peaceful, sometimes it did seem the world was silent and dead. Though, it was in a good way, sometimes the silent and deadness of the world was a good thing to have around. At this thought, a smile crept to her lips, as she really did hope that the snow would begin to fall soon.
When a voice came to her ears though, it caused Juliet to stop in her tracks and turn towards the voice and tilt her head a bit to the side. The guy looked familiar, for sure a senior, but when it came to people she didn't talk with or keep around her, then a name usually as always hard for her to place with a face. She glanced around and didn't see anyone else but them around and Juliet was sure she didn't see anyone else when she wandered out here; so she simply gave him a shrug "Umm, I'm not sure." she told her.
Juliet watched him lean up against the wall, realizing he had on a light jacket, the girl was positive it was very cold out here, cold enough to be wearing an almost heavy coat or jacket. But, Juliet pushed the thought away, it wasn't her business to go all motherly on people and ask them why they didn't have this or that on.

And I don’t want the world to see me…
…Cause I don’t think that they’d understand. Alex groaned softly and sighed as he reached up with both hands to rub his temples. “God, just kill me now, please,” he said, not caring if this girl thought he was insane or anything. He wasn’t even too sure who she was. And the only people’s who’s opinions mattered to him weren’t there. He bit his lip for a second before his hazel eyes darted over to the girl behind his sunglasses. “You wouldn’t happen to have an ibuprofen or some other pain pill would you?” he asked her. Any previous thoughts about not wanting to take anything else were being tossed aside. He needed to get rid of his headache and fast. He’d not make it through the rest of the day with it. He could’ve gone to the nurse for some; but, she’d more than likely turn him away because of his history with pain meds and ask why he needed them. It’d look just great for a scholarship kid to say, well gee I went out and got plastered last night and now I’ve got a hangover. He didn’t really want to have that conversation and get kicked off his scholarship.
He cringed internally when he heard his sister’s voice telling him he should’ve thought about that before he went out and got drunk. At least that was all he’d done at the party the night before. He could’ve done so much more, and he’d been so damn tempted to. But he hadn’t for a few reasons he didn’t want to remember at that moment because it just made his head hurt all that much more.tag;; juliet/open word count;; 270 ooc;;

The girl watched the other closely, hearing him curse to be killed now and watched him rub his temples. She smirked quietly and knew that movement and words all to well; the boy had a hangover from drinking the night before. Yes, Juliet did her share of drinking, but only every so often did she get out of control with it when there was just those nights you needed to forget everything and allow yourself to get over carried with things. But, nonetheless, she gave a small shrug "I'm not sure, hold on.." she told him, as she pulled her hands from her pockets and began to rummage through her bag and pulled out some ibuprofen. Juliet took the few steps to reach him and held the bottle out to him "Here you go. But, I'm sure nothing is going to help a headache like that." she couldn't help but to laugh a little "Only being in bed sleeping the day away will help it. Or drinking lots of water the night before would of helped as well." she admitted to him, with a small shrug.
It was always funny to see someones reaction to the knowledge that Juliet sometimes had, like when it came to drinking. Most people would hear that and look at her in utter shock and think "Oh my god, little miss Juliet drinks?" it always irritated her to no end. Okay, so the girl didn't always come off as the type that would drink, but she was pretty sure there was a lot of goody girls out there that did things that no one would ever think they would do.

…Cause I don’t think that they’d understand. “Thanks,” he said when she gave him some ibuprofen. He smiled slightly at her before taking the pain medication. He shrugged and said, “Tends to work well enough for me.” He wasn’t quite sure why, but usually when he took some Tylenol and/or ibuprofen he’d be fine after a few minutes. His “friends” always hated him for it. He’d still feel slightly sick, and still have a headache, but it’d be nowhere near as bad. But, he’d not really wanted to take the ibuprofen on top of the Tylenol like he used to. It was too late now, though. He sighed as he closed his eyes and crossed his arms, letting his head rest against the cool wall. “You’re Juliet, right?” he asked as he opened his eyes, though he was sure she couldn’t tell he closed them in the first place behind his dark sunglasses. He’d bought them because he liked them and it’d pissed his father off; but, they turned out to be really good for days when he had a hangover…or when he was a freshman, when he was high. He studied the girl as she stood there, trying to think of something…anything to say. He really hated silence. It was killer.tag;; juliet/open word count;; ooc;;

Juliet gave him a nod towards his thanks "No problem." she told him, as she placed the bottle back into her bag and shoved her hands back into her coat pockets and watched the other a little bit more. To the girl, people's actions and movements were usually sometimes..well, amusing, at times. Or, you could tell a lot from them by what they did or what they were wearing. Or instance, the boy had on dark shades, which also gave to the fact that he most likely had a hangover or was really high, but she already knew he had a hangover with the fact that he was asking for ibuprofen. But the girl pushed the thoughts away, as the other spoke to her once more. She gave a faint smile and nodded slightly "Yea, that's me." she told him, but unfortunately, she still wasn't able to put a name to the boys face "Sorry, but I don't seem to know your name." she admitted to him.

…Cause I don’t think that they’d understand. “Alex…” he replied with a small smile. He didn’t mind at all that she didn’t know his name. It was a good thing to him. When he first came back to the school at the end of his sophomore year, he was known as the “rehab kid”. At least people had new rumors to talk about to let them all forget about that piece of information that spread like wildfire around the gossip fueled school. He absentmindedly reached up and started playing with one of the necklaces he was wearing. He had developed a habit of playing with either one of his rings, or his bracelets, or his necklaces whenever he was sitting or standing around. It gave him something to do besides just stare blankly ahead. He tried to not think too much, because thinking was bad. Thinking lead to him wondering if he was making a mistake and doubting his actions. “So, why’re you skipping?” he asked as a way to stop the silence. He didn’t honestly care too much. He wouldn’t even care if she snapped something back about it not being any of his business. He just didn’t want silence, and listening to his IPod knowing someone around wouldn’t cure his itch for something other than silence. He guessed he was weird like that, but it was just one of his many oddities. He was quite sure he could make an insanely long list filled with them.tag;; juliet/open word count;; ooc;;

Juliet nodded towards his name, though, she didn't expect her to remember if she ever ran into this one again, but to be a bit nice, she did her best to try to keep the name with the face as much as she could. The girl pushed the thought away and started to wonder why she was even standing here talking to this..guy. She mentally shrugged at the thought and figured she could at least be doing something productive or..she could even be in class. The thought of class made her groan mentally as well; she knew it was her senior year and that she should at least attend them all, but her parents were throwing tons of money towards this school just because their "little girl" is attending it. Juliet scoffed mentally at the thought of her parents actually caring about what she is doing here.
Her thoughts were interrupted when the boy began to speak to her once more and gave a small shrug "Well, I don't know. Boredom I suppose." she shook her head a bit "It's not as if I'd get kicked out of here. My parents seem to throw to much money towards this school for them to kick me out." she told him with another small shrug.

…Cause I don’t think that they’d understand. “My parents seem to throw to much money towards this school for them to kick me out." Alex bit his lip to stop himself from scoffing or laughing bitterly or something of the like. He didn’t really like people who could literally get away with anything because of their parents. He was a scholarship student, which meant he had to watch his step…which was also why he knew showing up at the school with a hangover hadn’t been the best idea. But, he couldn’t really afford to miss his maths class. But, anyway…he didn’t want to say something to offend the girl so soon after she’d helped him. He may have been bitter and downright mean at times…but it didn’t mean he was completely cold-hearted. He wasn’t quite sure what else to say to this girl. He wasn’t in her social group…he wasn’t in any social group, to be honest. He probably wouldn’t ever talk to her again, especially not with the friends she kept. He was pretty sure that she was friends with the type of people who either ignored him or tried to make his life miserable. Of course, he never let them affect him. He had bigger issues to worry about than being accepted by people he’d probably never see again after graduation.tag;; juliet/open word count;; 216 ooc;;
