I don't believe in miracles I never did...
Daniel walked into the Starbucks quite early that morning. He had some last minute homework to finish and couldn’t do it without having some coffee. So, he got himself some and found an empty table to occupy. He pulled out his English homework and set to work. He would much rather still be sleeping at that point, or practicing, or hanging out with his friends…but, he’d been stupid and put his homework off all weekend. He’d have to deal with it though. The homework wasn’t that hard. He could have it done in ten minutes if he worked without distraction. He scribbled furiously at the assignment, making up stuff for the stupid essay. He wasn’t even 100% sure what the topic was. He didn’t care too much at that point. As long as he got it done, he’d be happy. He’d be even happier when he was able to drink his too-hot coffee. Sometimes he swore the workers were out to kill him with the scalding drink. Sure, coffee was supposed to be hot, but not overly so. He sighed as he set his pencil down and tested the coffee again. It was still too hot. He shot a glare over the counter before setting to work again. Soon enough, he was at the end of the page and he smiled as he set his pencil down. One crappily written essay complete! The day was starting out so wonderfully. He sighed as he tested the coffee once more and smiled when he found it was finally safe to drink. He glanced up when the door to the Starbucks opened and a small smile formed on his face seeing someone who went to Larkin as well.

...I don´t believe in fairytales, too cynical.
