The Mask!
Character Name: Stardust Angel Kinderick
Canon or Original: Original
Group: Sophomore
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Appearance:
Angel has bright blue eyes that everyone likes to comment on, and pale blonde hair that makes her stick out in a crowd. She has a very youthful look about her. Her nose is proportional and her ears are fairly large. She has small hands and feet, and a tiny, slim frame that makes her a very fast person. Her limbs are fairly porportioal, and compared to the rest of her body they're quite long. Her lips are sort of plump-ish, and the most make-up she'll wear is eyeliner and mascara. She likes all sorts of clothes, and likes to look decent, but wears darker colors to sort of blend in. She doens't like sticking out much...
Personality: Well… I’m kinda weird, I guess. I'm rarely anywhere without a camera. I don’t like wearing shoes, but since I’ve been here on the streets I kinda have to. I’m a sucker for lollipops. They’re my biggest weakness, I guess you could say. I’m nice, and some people tell me I’m too nice, but I can be pretty sarcastic. I’m the laid back type you can talk to about anything. I like giving advice, and I’ll be honest in the nicest way I can. Nothing really makes me mad, and if someone did I wouldn’t tell them. I’m not the sort to let people walk all over me. I admit, I’m not very good at listening. I get distracted pretty easily, and I find it hard to stay on track. When I do, I tend to over work myself. I don’t cry easily at all, though. I like to party, but not get drunk. Drunk people annoy me. I’m not very good at sticking up for myself, I’ll admit. I don’t know why… I’m just not. And I rarely get mad, but when I do? I get maaaaaaaad. I'm really sneaky and I tend to get a little too curious, sometimes getting myself in trouble.
Family: Laila Kinderick
History: Well... I was born in Canada, but I'm half Irish because. Who my father is, I don't know. He left when I was small. All I know about him is that he was in jail six times before he was eighteen. Can't say I regret not meeting him. They were hippies, and they names me "Stardust Angel" because... well, they were born in the wrong time period and used me as a way to "get back to it".
I currently live with my mom, but she's really terrible, so I'm never home. I had a foster sister who was deaf, and she taught me sign language, but she died of lukemia when I was twelve. I kept it with me, though. It's kinda handy, you know? Anyways... I don't have any other siblings. I'm always walking around on the street, finding something to do or go into this one club. The guys there know me, and they won't let me drink, but they'll let me dance and eat all I want. That's my only solstace...

Peer pressure.
You’d hear about it every day in the schools of Lorburn. They showed you videos on it, and basically, in a nice way, said “Don’t trust anyone”. They sort of had to keep it baby talk so the kids wouldn’t sense it and the adults wouldn’t complain. But Angel had seen it. She’d seen it before her mother had told her so, and told her it was right, and told her to listen. Though her mother ended up wrong about many things, like that their lives were going to get better, or there would be dinner the next day, or that she’d never let anyone take Angel away from her, but she found that one of the few things she was correct about.
Currently, Angel was having an inward debate on peer pressure. Behind the gym was where the “bad kids”’ went, and there they smoked, made out, whatever. It wasn’t that she strived to be a bad kid, she’d just happened to make acquaintances with a few due to her overly accepting personality. Now, she sat against the wall with a cigarette between her fingers like she’d seen people on movies do it, looking at the smoke curling upwards from the glowing end. She’d been given it by a friend just before she left, and was debating whether or not she should… you know, try it. She was seriously considering it. Sure, if she got caught she was busted, but people rarely went back there for some reason, even administrators. However, she wasn’t fond of the idea of anything other than oxygen going in her lungs, but for some reason, she felt the urge to try, just so she could say she did it. Making a decision she thought would be final, she lifted it to her lips, ready to introduce her lungs to a new substance…
