Emma had just finished a ballet class. she had went for a shower and changed into a pair of skinny jeans and a t-shirt. She felt drained yet at the same time she didn’t want to just go back to her room. She needed to clear her head. She felt strange as if something was missing inside of her. She shook her head and made her way to Starbuck she had figured some well needed caffeine could do her good. She stood infront of the board where all the drinks were writing on. Of course sit wasn’t a money problem that was bothering her right now. No she wondered if she could allow herself a skinny late. She mentally count the calories she had today vs what she burned in ballet.
She hated that food had now taken such a huge place in her life. She went for a black coffee. She ordered and made her way to a booth close to a window. As she turned around she noticed a guy from her school,l Charles. They had talked a few times and she liked him, He had the bad boy look but frankly she didn’t care. She waved her hand at him hoping he would decided to join her.
She didn't want to be alone at the moment but she didn't feel like calling any of her friends. She sipped on her coffee and looked out of the window at the passing cars.

Charles had wandered into Starbucks to grab a french vanilla coffee and since it was cold as ever outside, he decided that when he did get his order of caffeine, he would just stay there at the cafe and maybe he'd even see someone he knew and possibly have a chat with them. When he got his coffee, he took a sip of the burning hot liquid, Charles winced slightly as it seemed to burn away a few taste buds "Oh hell. What are a couple more?" he muttered quietly to himself as he turned away from the counter and ready to make his way to a table.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw what seemed like someone waving, when he turned in the direction it came from, he saw Emma. A slight smile came to his lips of the girl; he couldn't deny she wasn't gorgeous and she was a ballet dancer, which made the girl very flexible. Charles waved slightly back to her, and decided he'd go have a chat with this girl, would probably be better than anyone else that seemed to be within the cafe.
As he reached her table, Charles took a seat down across from her and noticed her looking out towards the window. He looked as well and didn't really see anything that would actually hold his attention, so he looked away and looked back at Emma, as he placed his cup of coffee down on the table before him "Hey, Emma." he greeted her with a smile.

She smiled as Charles sat down with her and tore her sight from the window. No need to get depressed again when she was actually sitting with someone it was better for her to have someone to talk to rather then her getting lost into her mind again. She saw him trying to find out what had caught her attention outside but of course he wouldn’t find anything.
She often got lost in her mind and would just daze out of a window. Most people would think she was looking at something specific but honestly she was just looking at nothing in particular. It was almost an escape from real life for her.
“Hey Charles” She said with a smile. The smell of his French Vanilla coffee invaded her nose. She never had been a fan of Vanilla anything, she hated the smell and taste of it. “How are you doing” She asked as she locked her eyes on his. He really did look good. She knew a lot of girl had a thing for him and she could see him but for some strange reason she felt that there was more to him then just this. It was like there was something hiding beside the good looks.

He took another sip from the cup and felt it burn the top of his mouth and tongue. He cursed mentally to himself as he sat down the cup on the table and looked towards Emma once more. Charles reached up, taking off the sunglasses on his face, figuring there was no point in having them on while inside. He wasn't high or drunk or anything, so he knew his eyes wouldn't look glazed over or even blood shot.
"I'm doing good." he replied to her, with a small smile still to his lips "How are you?" he asked her. The guy was actually curious to know how she was doing. Charles didn't really socialize a lot during school, either the guy wasn't there or he was completely off in his own world during most of the day or it was just one of those days where he didn't really care at all to speak to anyone that was around him. But, when he did speak to people during school hours, he was a pretty nice guy. Then again, it really all depended on who the person is and what is day was like before that person spoke to him.
Like with Emma, he seemed to always be nice to this girl; he'd never seen her be hateful to him and she didn't seem stuck up either, which to Charles, that is attractive: A girl who isn't stuck up. He knew that Emma had some problems, but to him, no one is perfect and he'd even admit that he had some problems of his own.
