"Alright, thank you, students, I will see you next week, get your things, you may leave." With that, the drama teacher exited the room. Laine sighed as people started racing to get out of the room. She hated drama class. Partially because none of her friends were in it, and because she sucked at acting. Which, she thought, is odd, considering acting is just lying, and I'm awesome at that.
Laine gathered her things from the stage next to where she was standing. She'd been talking to someone who didn't interest her for most of the class, and hadn't actually gotten any of the work they were supposed to do for class done. They were supposed to be doing something that involved understanding Juliet, (of 'Romeo & ' fame), but Laine honestly wasn't interested.
After a second of trying to organize her bag, Laine decided that everything could just be a mess. She shoved her folder and her copy of Romeo and Juliet into the black messenger bag, and lifted it off the stage. She was surprised by how heavy it was. It didn't seem like she had that much in there...
Laine looked around the drama room, glad to see that everyone had left already. No one there to talk to her anymore, tell her things that she already knew. Yes, she knew that Mimi Blackstone had herpes. It wasn't that shocking. About four people had told her that lovely piece of news, so far.
Laine walked toward the door, with her cell phone in hand, typing a message to Lexxy. She wasn't watching where she was going, so it surprised her a little when she suddenly ran into someone. She looked up quickly, and apologized to the tall blonde girl. "Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't see you. Are you alright?"
